I have had it for about a week now, its my 1st memory bubble mattress, firm but comfy. It has that chemical smell for a couple days but it goes away, it doesnt come with any information but just open it up, wait a day or a couple hours like me for it to develop and release its smell and its an awesome night sleep. I still cant figure out who sarah peyton is or why she sells mattresses but i like her stuff. The cover is removable too which is convenient. I certainly recommend this to people on a budget with back ache, i live in Hawaii where shipping can rip a fat hole in your wallet, this was free shipping, i love you amazon! the beds cool too.

We just received our new mattress three days ago. I was a bit cynical because I was purchasing a mattress over the internet that I’d never felt. I was more skiptical when I saw the thin rolled up mattress waiting on the patio when I got home from work. But once we got it into our bedroom and peeled the many layers of plastic wrap off, it now started to “puff up” and look more like a regular mattress. I expected to smell the awful scent many of the other reviewers experienced, but there was none. Maybe the manufacturers have caught on and pre aired the mattreses? At any rate, I patiently waited 48 hrs before I tried the mattress out though I am sure it was prepared the next day. The mattress felt firm in comparison to our old one but you could immediatley feel it compliant to your body. I must have fallen asleep now, which is something that rarely happens except when I am really exhausted. I woke up nearly nine hours afterward totally rested and I was in the same position I was in when I fell asleep. I do not know that I did not switch positions during the night, but there was certainly none of my common flip flopping. There was no back ache of any kind. I typically experince some hardness and acheyness. But there nothed. I will certainly be recommending this mattress to those I know shopping around for a new mattress. And once we get moved into our new home, we will be purchasing another one for the guest room. I just hope they do not get too comfy that they will never want to leave.

I have a real bad back .. couldn’t sleep on my back had to sleep on my right side. With this bed i can sleep on my back and left side now .. I used to wake up and could hardly walk , now wake up with nearly no back ache. Wish I could of bought one when they 1st came out.

    I have had three of these for about ten years. Two are working after all this time and the 3rd one failed when the bulb burned out and caused a momentary short circuit. The sensor failed a small percentage of a second after the bulb. Shame but stuff on occasion happens. Replaced the failed unit with a spare and all is still well.

    Another reviewer mentioned that the range is inadequate. I have found that while the units do react to a 360 degree circle, they don’t react equally in all directions. The unit responds excellently in two reverse directions and badly in between. The maker must know this because the center terminal is spring loaded and makes electrical contact about a half turn before the sensor screws tight into the socket. , you may be able to unscrew the unit by about a half turn and still have it work. I have taken some days and gradually unscrewed the sensor from the roof socket some degrees at a time till the most sensative direction faces my single point of entry. Works much better that way. Doing likewise may help many people.

    I bought four of these. So far they seem to work well. They don’t work with compact flourescent lights well, but are good with incandescent bulbs.

    This is an amazing product. I love it! If they were less costly, I’d purchase five or six. I have one in my basement, where the bulbs are old fashioned screw in to turn on types not pull chains. Yes, I could rewire the basement, but meanwhile, this is the ideal choice. Like many motion sensing devices, this socket does not work with a flourescent bulb, package information tell use it only with incandescent bulb. It also can not be used in an enclosed fixture, only a bare bulb fixture. But for closets, garages, pantries, basements, etc., it is perfect.

    This is a good case that will protect your iPhone better than most other cases.

    Pros:

    Very lasting. I could feel safe using it for outdoor actions like biking, running, hiking, skiing but it is not waterproof, camping, etc.

    You can use all buttons on the phone.

    Durable belt clip has another feature that makes it simple to attach to your belt.

    Cons:

    Very, hard to detach the case from the belt holster.

    The rubber/silicone outer cover frequently gets bunched up when you attach it to the belt holster.

    Most importantly, the fitted screen protector gets splotchy and greasy easily, nearly as if there is condensation or liquid between the screen protector and the iPhone’s screen. The only way to take off it’s to take the phone out of the case and clean it off which is a nuisance.

    Conclusion: It does not make a good “everyday” case. I only recommend buying it if you are an avid outdoorsman. For everyday use, find another case.

    I’m not typically one to leave review comments. But I surely read a BUNCH of reviews on cases for my iPhone 3G. THANK YOU to all those who wrote reviews and helped me pick the Otterbox Defender case! This case is awesome. Lasting, all functions are available. And yes, the oil slicking effect is on occasion present, but easily fixed.

    The ONLY issue I had when I installed the case was that now after I installed the case, nearly 95 of all people I talked to said they heard an echo every time they spoke you know, when you say something and a second afterward you hear it in your ear part. ANNOYING!.

    I has been bummed because the case is built like a tank and already saved my phone from a 6′ drop onto the asphalt in the rain. Though, I decided to take off the felt pieces that cover the mic and ear pieces since they’re only there to prevent possible drops of water hitting those phone parts directly. Once I removed those pieces, not one person complains of hearing the echo anymore! weird, but it worked. So I wanted to pass it on.

    The echo was the ONLY issue I had with this case. It is the best case I could find and WELL worth the money. I recommend it to everyone I see with an iPhone now :

    I bought the OtterBox 3G Defender for my iPhone through their web site, but I thought I’d talk about how happy I’m with it here. I have heard many of complaints about the oil slicking effect under the membrane, but that problem was easily solved, and has not reoccurred since I placed my phone in the case for the last time.

    Calls are clear through it, and clear on the other end. I have heard some people talk about a tunnelling effect, but that does not seem present. All my calls have been just as clear as they were in my last phone case.

    The OtterBox case is really protecting, and of all the cases I have looked at so far, the sturdiest case for the iPhone 3G that I have seen. I greatly recommend it to anybody who’s looking for a hard case for his or her phone. Well worth the money!
